project brief

This is a stunning $80 million redevelopment, originally built in 1972 and a centre piece of Curtin’s Brutalist Architecture.

This redevelopment includes significant infrastructure works to address the end of life services and ensure reliable and sustainable operations moving forward. The work also includes construction of a new services tower, demolition and replacement of existing façade, a new level 7 events and exhibition space and full refurbishment of all existing levels.

Rapid changes in technology have seen the role of libraries change. This project will support the TL Robertson Library’s role as a key meeting place and activity centre on Curtin’s Perth campus and its transformation into a place for digital innovation and social collaboration.
